Photo Won't Upload
If your profile photo isn't saving after you select it:
- Make sure you have an active internet connection — your photo is stored in iCloud
- Check your iCloud storage isn't full: Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage
- Try selecting a different photo — very large images (RAW files or extremely high-resolution screenshots) may take longer or fail on slower connections
- Close and reopen TradingPlan, then try again
Photo Shows on One Device but Not Another
Your profile photo syncs via iCloud like the rest of your data, but images are larger than text so they can take a little longer.
- Allow a few minutes after setting the photo on your first device
- Make sure both devices are signed into the same Apple ID with iCloud enabled for TradingPlan
- Try Profile → Help & Feedback → Manual Sync on the device that's missing the photo
- If it still hasn't appeared after 10 minutes, check your internet connection on both devices
Photo Looks Cropped or Off-Centre
TradingPlan displays your profile photo in a circular crop, centred on the middle of the image. For best results:
- Use a square or portrait-orientation photo
- Make sure the subject (your face) is roughly centred in the original image
- Avoid very wide panoramic or landscape images where the subject is off to one side
Removing Your Profile Photo
To remove your profile photo:
- Go to Profile
- Tap your photo
- Select a blank or default image, or contact support if you'd like it cleared
Still Not Working?
If your photo still won't upload or sync after trying the steps above, contact us at Profile → Help & Feedback → Report a Problem. Include which device you're using and what happens when you try to set the photo.
