Creating a Watchlist
- Go to the Watchlists tab
- Tap New Watchlist (or the + button)
- Give it a name — e.g. “FX Majors”, “Morning Watch”, “Weekly Setups”
- Tap Create
An empty watchlist opens. Start adding markets and configuring settings.
Adding Markets
Tap Add Market to add a market to your watchlist. Enter:
- Market name — the instrument identifier (e.g. EURUSD, AAPL, GC — Gold, US30)
- Market type — Forex, Indices, Commodities, Crypto, Equities, or Other (used for grouping by type)
- Custom group — if you’re using custom group mode, assign the market to a group here
After creating the market, tap it to open its detail panel and fill in any additional fields.
Configuring a Market
Tap any market in the list to open its configuration:
Direction Bias
Set your overall directional view for this market: - Long Only — you’re only looking for long setups - Short Only — only short setups - Both — you’ll take setups in either direction - Neutral / No Bias — monitoring only, no directional view
Key Rules
Free text — what are the specific conditions you’re watching for on this market? This is your quick reference note: the level, the pattern, the confirmation signal.
Market Times and Breaks
Note the session times for this market and any scheduled breaks (e.g. lunch close for certain markets). Useful if you trade across multiple time zones.
Notes
Any additional context, observations, or reminders.
Flag Colour
Use the flag as a visual priority marker. Colours and their labels are customisable per watchlist (see Flag Labels below). Common uses: - Green — high priority / highest conviction setup - Amber — interesting but needs more development - Red — avoid / news risk / do not trade today - Blue — waiting for a level / monitoring only
Strategy Status (per linked strategy)
If your watchlist is linked to strategies, you’ll see a status row for each strategy. Set the status for this market per strategy: - Signal Forming — conditions are developing - Trade Live — you have an active position or order placed - Excluded — this market is excluded from this strategy today - Not Set — no assessment yet
Strategy-Specific Rules and Notes
For each linked strategy, you can add notes and rules specific to that strategy on that market — separate from the general market notes.
Watchlist Settings
Tap the gear icon (⚙) when viewing a watchlist to open its settings.
Linked Strategies
Select which of your strategies to link to this watchlist. Linked strategies: - Add a column per strategy to the market table - Appear as launch buttons in the top bar for quick flow access - Make strategy-specific status, rules, and notes available per market
Linked Routines
Select routines to link to this watchlist. Linked routines appear as buttons in the top bar so you can start or continue them with one tap while reviewing markets.
Linked Risk Plan
Associate this watchlist with one of your risk plans. This keeps your risk context connected to your market review.
Grouping Mode
Choose how markets are organised: - None — flat list, drag to reorder - By Market Type — automatically grouped by the type field - By Custom Group — you control which group each market belongs to
Daily Reset
Toggle Daily Reset on to automatically clear all reviewed markers at the start of each day. Markets start un-reviewed each morning, ready for your session. Turn this off if you prefer to manage reviewed status manually.
Show Top Bar
Toggle the stats and flow-launch top bar on or off. Most users want this on — it shows reviewed progress and routine/strategy quick-launch buttons.
Hidden Columns
Choose which columns to hide in the market table. Different watchlists suit different column sets — a macro watchlist might only need name, bias, and notes; a strategy-focused watchlist will want all strategy columns visible.
Auto-Remove Unused Markets
When enabled, markets that haven’t been assigned to any group and have no activity are automatically removed during cleanup.
Flag Colour Labels
Give your flag colours meaningful names. Go to watchlist settings and edit the Flag Labels section. Set a label for each colour you use (e.g. “High Priority” for green, “Watch Zone” for blue). Labels appear as a legend on the watchlist.
Status Labels
Customise the names of the strategy status options if you prefer different terminology. Go to watchlist settings → Status Labels.
Column Widths
Drag the edge of any column header to resize it. Column widths are saved per watchlist.
Group Management
When using Custom Group mode: - Tap the + button in the header area to add a new group - Drag group headers to reorder them - Assign a colour to each group (shown as a coloured indicator) - Tap a group header to collapse or expand it
Reminders
You can add time-based reminders to a watchlist — for example, a reminder 30 minutes before the London open to prompt your market review. Reminders are configured in watchlist settings.
Reordering Watchlists
In the main Watchlists tab, drag the reorder handle next to each watchlist to change its order. The order is saved and synced across devices.
