Launching a Strategy Flow from the Top Bar
Each linked strategy appears as a button in the watchlist top bar. Tap one to start a strategy flow for that strategy — without leaving your watchlist context.
When you launch a flow from the watchlist top bar: 1. A setup sheet appears asking which market the flow is for and the trade direction 2. You complete the flow as normal — working through your strategy rules 3. When the flow is complete, the result is recorded in Flow History 4. The top bar’s live flows badge updates to reflect the active session count
The live flows badge shows a pulsing dot with the count of active flow sessions associated with this watchlist — giving you an at-a-glance view of how many trades are currently in progress.
Flow Limit (Free Plan)
On the free plan, you can have up to 2 active strategy flow sessions at once across the whole app. If you’ve reached this limit, you’ll see an alert when trying to start a new flow from the watchlist. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited concurrent flows.
Flow Sessions Scoped to the Watchlist
When you start a flow from the watchlist top bar, it’s associated with that watchlist. This means the live flows badge on that specific watchlist’s top bar reflects only the flows started from it — not flows started from other watchlists or from the Strategies tab directly.
Opening an Active Flow Session
If a strategy already has an active flow session (shown by the pulsing dot on the strategy button), tapping it opens the existing session — not a new one. This lets you return to a mid-session flow you started earlier.
Completing or Discarding a Flow
When you dismiss the flow sheet: - If the flow was completed (all rules evaluated, verdict reached) and no order was placed, the session is automatically cleaned up - If the flow is incomplete (still in progress), it remains active and can be continued later — the live flows badge persists - If the flow has no rules at all (strategy with no rules), it’s also cleaned up on dismiss
A completed flow with an order placed is recorded in Flow History.
Routine Buttons in the Top Bar
Each linked routine appears as a button in the watchlist top bar. Tap one to:
- Start a new routine session — if no session is currently active for that routine
- Continue an existing session — if you’ve already started this routine today, it opens where you left off
An active routine session shows a pulsing dot on the routine button, matching the pattern used for live strategy flows.
Why Link Routines to a Watchlist?
Linking a routine gives you one-tap access to it while you’re reviewing markets — no need to navigate away. Typical patterns:
- A pre-market routine linked to your main watchlist — review your markets and run your prep routine from the same screen
- A “trade review” routine linked to your watchlist — run it after marking all markets reviewed
The combination of running your routine and reviewing your markets from the same screen is what makes the top bar useful — everything you need for a structured session in one place.
Expanding and Collapsing the Top Bar
The top bar has an expand/collapse button (the chevron in the top right corner of the bar). When collapsed, only the stats row is visible — date/time, reviewed count, live flows, and the progress strip. When expanded, the routine and strategy rows are visible.
Collapse it during active market review when you want more table space. Expand it when you need to launch a flow or start a routine.
The collapse state is remembered per session.
Resetting Reviewed from the Top Bar
The reset icon (↺) in the top bar clears all reviewed markers across all markets in the watchlist. Use this at the start of a new review session rather than manually un-reviewing each market individually.
